Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute comprehensive audits of financial statements, operational procedures, and compliance with regulations.
- Lead audit engagements, including determining scope, and timelines to ensure audits are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Review audit workpapers prepared by audit staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with audit standards.
- Assess audit findings and develop recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
- Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure audits are conducted in accordance with the latest standards.
- Provide guidance and support to audit staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and assist in developing the annual audit plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
fields, CPA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of proven experience in accounting, including
(2 years) in auditing.
- In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, procedures,
laws, rules, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with
attention to details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
ability to interact effectively with all levels in the group.
- Proficiency in audit software and MS Office tools,
experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple
projects simultaneously.
- Arabic and English language fluency, (Kurdish language
is a plus).
Working Conditions:
Office Based: (5) Days per week & (9) hours per day (Starting from 8:00 am till 5:00 pm).
