Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all power equipment, A/C systems, generators, and fuel logistics forthe Company.
- Oversee power maintenance, operations, and infrastructure projects.
- Lead and manage the Power Operations team in accordance with safety standards.
- Plan and purchase materials, manage inventory, and ensure warehouse efficiency for power spare parts.
- Design and maintain DC power supply systems, UPS systems, and batteries (Lead Acid and Lithium).
- Conduct power cable sizing, transformer sizing, and diesel generator maintenance, including Perkins engines.
- Design earthing and lightning systems, ATS systems, MV and LV systems.
- Develop solar systems for telecom, using PVsyst software for system design and layout.
- Implement and maintain SCADA systems and telecom communication protocols.
- Conduct calibration for AI, AO, DI, and DO channels for telecom applications.
- Prepare datasheets, BoMs, scopes of work, and electrical layout drawings.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for all power infrastructure, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Monitor the performance of power systems through KPIs and real-time monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for the procurement, installation, and commissioning of power-related equipment.
- Conduct technical evaluations and cost-benefit analysis of new power technologies and upgrades.
- Ensure full compliance with local electrical safety codes, telecom regulations, and environmental standards.
- Provide training and technical support to subordinates and field technicians for effective power maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Lead the design and integration of hybrid power solutions including diesel-solar-battery systems for telecom applications.
- Analyze power consumption data and develop energy efficiency optimization plans across network sites.
- Ensure redundancy and failover planning for critical power infrastructure to maintain uninterrupted telecom services.
- Participate in budget preparation for the power department, including CAPEX and OPEX planning and reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical system configurations, modifications, and incident reports.
- Power System KPIs for resource and operation optimization.
- Quality control inspection for the ordered materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical
engineering – Power section.
- Minimum of +8 years of experience in power-related projects or maintenance.
- Strong engineering decision-making and leadership skills.
- Well-presented with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and after working hours.
- Ability to prepare ITT packages and evaluate power tenders.
- Fluent in Kurdish, English, and Arabic langauges.
- Software Proficiency: PVsyst, Auto, CADETAP.
Working Conditions:
Office Based Role - (5) Days per week & (8) hours per day.
