Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and provide strategic guidance to senior management on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Lead the financial planning & analyzing to provide accurate and timely financial insights, as well as analyzing financial data, performance metrics, and (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Oversee the annual budgeting process and develop long-term financial forecasts, and monitor budget performance, variance analysis, and financial projections.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with group & regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies and internal controls.
- Manage capital allocation and investment decisions to optimize financial returns and shareholder value.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and financial stability.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA, advanced degree, CPA, or CFA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry or related sectors preferred.
- Strong financial understanding of the telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record of financial leadership, performance management, and business partnering.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Iraqi regulatory compliance, tax office and banking system.
- Good knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting tools and IFRS.
- Advanced skills in English language, the second language preferred to be either Kurdish or Arabic.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead change initiatives.
Working Conditions:
Office Based (5) Days per week & (9) hours per day (Starting from 8:00 am till 5:00 pm).
