Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, sourcing, and placing drilling contract packages, in compliance with procedures.
- Responsible for the development, compilation, and execution of pre-qualification exercises, contracting strategies, invitation to tender documentation, commercial evaluations, detailed analysis of commercial and contractual qualifications, and execution of contracts.
- Acting as a focal point for the Contract Owner/Holder in the post-award phase e.g. preparation of variations and amendments.
- Coordinates technical, operational, HSE, quality, contractual, and commercial inputs into governance papers going to Government and Partner shareholders.
- Awareness of supply-side risk, being knowledgeable about and adapting to, supply market developments, and the changing business circumstances associated with vendor performance, capability, and competence.
- Supports and participates in the development of policies, procedures, and work practices to realize the objectives of the Supply Chain and provides flexibility in generating practical solutions to business requirements.
- Assists in the development and training of more junior/national personnel in the Supply Chain team.
- Ensures compliance with the company's requirements along with governance and compliance obligations and ensures an audit trail to secure cost recovery.
- Identify opportunities to develop and promote positive relationship management with contractors and suppliers, leading to partnerships that focus on creating sustainable value.
- Prepare and execute Service Orders and Call-Off Orders in the company's Epicor system.
- Conduct contract management activities to ensure effective contract administration and performance management of contracts including progress to date, quality of services, and progress measurements.
- Liaise with the company's departments on all matters relating to legal, tax, insurance, Compliance, and HSE.
- Safeguard a high level of compliance with the company's anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and money laundering policies.
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of technology, industry supply chain initiatives, and market trends/pricing.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant oil & gas contracting experience, with at least 3+ years working for an Operator.
- Demonstrable experience in drilling and well services contracting engineering.
- Degree preferably technical or business-related.
- Preference for CIPS (or equivalent) certification and experience with other International Oil & Gas Companies.
- Awareness of Best Practices in supply chain procedures and procedures.
- Formulating, evaluating, and negotiating contracts.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with diverse business drivers and variables.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness, confidentiality, and sound business acumen.
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
- High level of competency with Microsoft suite of applications and ERP systems.
- Collaborative with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Works independently with a minimal level of supervision.

Working Conditions:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
pm, with the possibility of travel to the other branches.
